Sunday is a bittersweet day. The festival is winding down. The last classes and concert is within sight and soon to be over. For those that run the festival, it is a time for one last event. This year was no different.
Sunday’s Stramash concert was wonderful. Just as A Taste of Things to Come started out with tantalizing snippets of Celtic music, this concert was there to remind us of all the wonderful music we had heard over the last few days. Ed Miller hosted the Stramash. It was wonderful. Held at the 4H building in La Veta, it was packed with people yearning to hear one last note, sing one more song and to say goodbye to new friends until next year.
