We have been enjoying announcing our performers for this year’s Spanish Peaks Celtic Festival, and hope that you’re feeling as excited as we are. Last year we brought together a number of talented individuals and basically told them, “This is yours to play with. See what you can do.” And my, how they did! By many accounts 2018 was as musically dynamic as any Festival we’ve had.
This year we are again bringing together some great individual talents (e.g., Kevin Burke, Patsy O’Brien, Kevin Crawford, Cillian Valley, and others), and also some exciting old and new bands (e.g., Old Blind Dogs, HighTime, The Conifers, Take Down the Door, and a surprise to still be announced).
With that great talent we are also offering you, our supporters, an opportunity to become personally involved with our lineup. For the first time you, or your business, have the opportunity to be uniquely responsible for the appearance of a band, an individual musician, a concert, or the Piping Retreat. We have set sponsorship levels at which you, and no one else, can play a major part in the Festival.
See below for an explanation of each of the available levels. If the description of benefits doesn’t quite fit you, but the opportunity does, please contact us and present your idea. It is true that the Festival needs your support, but we’re excited about what sponsorship could mean to you. Already the La Veta Mercantile has sponsored us at the “Band” level, and has chosen Old Blind Dogs. That leaves everyone else, as well as a few still to be announced.

Sponsorship Options
$8,000 – Sponsor a concert:
For $8,000 you can be the sponsor for one of our four big concerts. You’ll get your name in the program, a free quarter page ad in the program, a banner in the concert venue, the MC will talk about your business (or you) at the start of the concert, and you’ll receive two full festival passes and two invites to the Wednesday night pre-festival party, where you’ll be introduced to the musicians whose concert you’re sponsoring.
$5,000 – Sponsor a band:
For $5,000 you can be the sponsor for one of our bands. You’ll get your name in the program, a free quarter page ad in the program, one full festival pass, and one invite to the Wednesday night pre-festival party, where you’ll be introduced to the band you’re sponsoring.
$1,000 – Sponsor an international artist:
For $1,000 you can be the sponsor for one of our international artists. You’ll get your name in the program, a half price quarter page ad in the program, one full concert pass, and one invite to the Wednesday night pre-festival party, where you’ll be introduced to the artist you’re sponsoring.
$750 – Sponsor a U.S. artist:
For $750 you can be the sponsor for one of our all-American (or U.S. based) artists. You’ll get your name in the program, a half price quarter page ad in the program, one full concert pass, and one invite to the Wednesday night pre-festival party, where you’ll be introduced to the artist you’re sponsoring.
$500 – Sponsor the piping retreat:
For $500 you can be a sponsor for the SPICMF piping retreat, a multi-day, hands-on, intensive learning experience for pipers of all skill ranges. You’ll be granted a spot in the class, your name in the program, and one full concert pass.
