Dear Festival supporters,

We are very pleased to inform you that the 2019 daily schedule is now up, and can be accessed by clicking on this schedule link.  We have also published the mail-in registration form, and should have the online system accessible by Monday, August 5th.

By now you are likely aware of the fabulous musician lineup we are presenting.  We are also very excited about some of the new concepts this year.  For example, we will have a series of the “Business of Music” workshops.  If any of you have considered managing a group or musician, or even yourself, or considered producing a recording, you will certainly be interested in these workshops.  Included in this series will be Jessie Burns of Take Down the Door, who will be hosting a panel of musicians discussing the challenges of staying genuine and human in the music business.

We will also have a series on session playing, in which you, the aspiring musician, will be guided through the nuances of joining your instrument and talents into a session format.  We will publish more information on that series shortly, but you find the workshops listed in the daily schedules.

While we anticipate the activation of the online ticket system, you might want to consider the options of Full Festival Pass (FF) and Full Concert Pass (FC).  The FF option gives the user total flexibility in choosing events. It gives you admission to five major concerts, as well as any workshop or demo performance. Imagine having to choose between two attractive events at the same time, picking one, and then wishing you had chosen the other. With the FFP you can still redo that selection. Your badge will give you entry no matter where (or when) you choose to go. Imagine also that you have made yourself an event schedule, but a chance meeting with a musician has you wanting to change your plan. With the FF you can easily make that change. It’s totally up to you.

This year we’ve made that option more affordable. We have reduced the price by $50. If you purchase a FF by August 31st it will cost you only $300. Last year the same pass would have cost you $385 after the “early bird” deadline passed.  You can also now purchase the Full Concert Pass at this time at a $10 discount.

To make either purchase access the online ticket service by clicking on either of the badges below from last year’s festival.  We expect it the links to be active by Monday morning.

With sincere thanks,
Jonathan James
