The Spanish Peaks Celtic Festival is now only two weeks away and we have a delightful series of concerts for you. Starting at the Dog Bar in Cuchara on Thursday at 4:30 (after the opening festivities in the Uptop Saloon), we have our traditional concert, “The Lads at the Dog Bar”. This concert features Patsy O’Brien, Eric Thorin, and Jeff Lindblade. Following that is John Doyle in concert at the La Veta Mercantile at 7:30 PM. Because of limited seating, this concert is advanced tickets only. We will then showcase Patsy O’Brien, Jerry O’Sullivan, Sean Gavin, Barry Shears, John Williams, and The Byrne Brothers on Friday night at 7 PM at the Fox Theater in Walsenburg. Saturday night’s concert at 7 PM at the Fox will feature The Bow Tides and Reverie Road. We will conclude this year’s festival with a 1 PM concert featuring The Gothard Sisters. Tickets for this concert are also advanced purchase only. This year’s lineup promises to be fun, exciting, and memorable. Be sure to get you tickets soon!
