Dana Burgess is an electrical engineer who has been involved in music for over 50 years. Beginning as a drummer in grade school, he played with many bands in many different styles of music. Always interested in the production side of live music, he began running sound for church in 2012. This evolved into revamping the entire sound system, then consulting for other churches, and running sound for everything from small local bands to mid-size festivals and everything in between.
He has run sound for the Spanish Peaks Festival for eight years, as well as for FOCOMX, a large music festival in Fort Collins every year. He is also the sound engineer for the Loveland Choral Society, as well as local bands in Northern Colorado.
In 2020 he formed dbSoundProLive, his live sound production company, which has grown steadily since then.
Having a lot of experience both as a performer and sound engineer, he understands what it takes to make a show go smoothly and successfully.
